Five Came Back

“Five Came Back” written by Mark Harris, based on his book “Five Came Back – The Story of Hollywood and The Second World War” is narrated by Meryl Streep and takes a detailed look at the work of five film makers during the Second World War.

The three part documentary series masterfully interviews five of our modern cinematic film makers Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Guillermo Del Toro, Paul Greengrass and Lawrence Kasdan to explore the works of the five wartime film directors: John Ford, William Wyler, John Huston, Frank Capra, and George Stevens discussing how they used their careers to convey the reality of war to the American public in a time when as Mark Harris says “There were newspapers and radio, but visually, the movies were the only way people could see the war.”

“Five Came Back” will be available to stream exclusively to Netflix globally from 31st March 2017.

13 Reasons Why

Based on the book by Jay Asher. High school student Clay Jensen receives a parcel on his doorstep containing cassette tapes from Hannah Baker who committed suicide just two weeks ago and discovers what part he played in her death.
