Netflix Originals coming this week:

Anne With an E

Based on the beloved books of Anne of Green Gables, Anne with an E is the story of a young orphaned girl who is sent from the orphanage to live with an old spinster woman and her brother. The stern siblings, expecting a boy orphan, are less than impressed with Anne but she sets out to show them and everybody else what she’s made of. There have been varying attempts to recreate the character of Anne over the years and this one looks set to present the story a little darker, a bit more adult and with more depth.

Available globally* as a Netflix Original from Friday 12th May 2017.
*Except Canada on the first run. Includes Canada on the second run, the date of this is currently unannounced.

Master of None (Season 2)

Aziz Ansari returns as Dev Shah, the hopelessly indecisive ‘actor’ living in New York. The season follows Dev’s relationship with his father (who happens to be Aziz Ansari’s actual father) his friends and his love life. ‘Master of None’ challenges stereotypes to address prejudice using humour all the way.

From the creators of ‘Parks and Recreation’ season two of ‘Master of None’ is available as 10 x 30 minute episodes to stream from Friday 12th May 2017 as a global Netflix Original.

    1. The short answer is we don’t know. It would seem season 5 may have been added in error as it was removed within a week. Keep track of the blog and we’ll let you know when we have any news. Laura
