The Stranded: Netflix’s First Thai Original Series Announced

Netflix has announced the details of their first Thai Original series “The Stranded”, which has just started production. The series follows 18-year old Kraam who is one of a group of students from an elite private high school that are on a remote island in the Andaman Sea for a school trip. When a devastating tsunami strikes he is left with 36 others to try and survive. However, when mysterious events start happening on the island, it quickly becomes clear that no one is coming to rescue them and Kraam must lead the students to rescue themselves.

The series stars Thailand’s Sinjai Plengpanich, Sarunyoo and Hattaya Wongkrachang, together with Winai Kraibutr, Beam-Papangkorn Lerkchaleampote, Pat-Chayanit Chansangavej, March-Chutavuth Pattarakampol, Jack-Kittisak Patomburana, Oab-Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang and more.
