Back in 2005, legendary rapper Snoop set up the Snoop Youth Football League as a way to help inner-city children from Los Angeles learn teamwork, discipline and self-respect. In 2016 AOL aired a series about his work and now Netflix have taken over. The upcoming 8-episode series follows Snoop as he coaches a team and gives in intimate look at the players and how they deal with difficulties both on and off the field. “Coach Snoop” arrives on February 2nd.
“Music gave me the power to create a football league, but football is taking me to places music could have never taken me to”
