Watch the Trailer for “22 July” – The Story of Norway’s Deadliest Terrorist Attack

On 22nd July 2011, 77 people were killed when a far-right extremist detonated a car bomb in Oslo before carrying out a mass shooting at a leadership camp for teens. An upcoming Netflix film by award-nominated filmmaker Paul Greengrass (“Captain Phillips”, “United 93”) tells the story of the attack and the country’s road to recovery through the eyes of one of the survivors.

“22 July” arrives globally on Netflix, and some selected cinemas, on October 10th.

  1. Although there’s a popular fascination and appetite for these things, during times where fame has never been so valued by lots of people, doesn’t this sort of thing make these sorts of attack more attractive?
    Can’t sing, can’t dance, can’t act? Just get some weapons and gun down a school. You’ll certainly be talked about a lot by the media, famous for 15 minutes at least, and they might even make a movie about you.
