All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from 16th April 2021)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! Into The Beat

A young ballet dancer with high hopes for a scholarship to New York to follow what she thinks are her dreams soon begins to question if she is really just making her parents happy when she discovers an underground hip-hop dance movement. In her realisation of how much she loves this newfound passion, she has a choice to make; break her parent’s hearts or risk breaking her own.

Tell Me When

Will is a Mexican living in LA. He is struggling to find excitement in the mundane. When his beloved grandfather who raised him declares his dying wish is for Will to visit Mexico City, Will abides and soon finds himself on an adventure of excitement, friendship and new love. Stars Jesús Zavala, Verónica Castro and Ximena Romo.

Giuseppe Dave Seke plays ‘Zero’. A young Italian man from the district of Barrio in Milan, who possesses the ability to actually turn invisible. This is a different sort of superhero tale though. Zero feels invisible, his life has amounted to little and he’s not sure where he wants to be except out of his home town. Then he meets a group of new friends who need his help as well as his friendship in their bid to save the city. Zero will have to step out of his comfort zone in this new role but the friendship of Sharif, Inno, Momo and Sara, and the potential for love means it’s a risk he is willing to take.

A space crew trio find an unlikely discovery on board by way of an accidental stowaway! After discovering damage to the ship and the systems that keep them alive it becomes apparent that not everyone can be saved. The crew must act fast and make decisions that no one should face about their life work, the mission to Mars and their own lives. The film is directed by Joe Penna and stars Anna Kendrick, Daniel Dae Kim, Shamier Anderson and Toni Collette.

Searching for Sheela

It has been more than three decades since Sheela better known as Ma Anand Sheela has visited India and this documentary follows her as she makes the long-awaited trip. With exclusive interviews about her colourful life including the accusations made against her and the crimes, she was convicted for. After spending over three years in prison for her part in the 1984 ‘Rajneeshee bioterror attack’ Sheela relocated to Switzerland where she married and owned two nursing homes before she was convicted in 1999 for crimes of plotting to murder that dated back to 1985. The documentary addresses questions that have been unanswered for a long time including Sheela’s time as personal assistant to the world famous Baghwan Rajneesh.
