The Circle US

Competition reality TV show ‘The Circle‘ has announced a US version of the show which has ironically been filmed in London as with the succesful British version in the same apartment building. Contestants must live in their own apartments and as their only contact with each other is via a voice activated social media platform ‘The Circle’ via their TV sets, they are free to be whoever they want to be. Choosing to be themselves entirely, in part or completely catfishing the other residents. Contestents must strive to stay in the game by impressing fellow contestants and viewers if they are to bwe in with a chance of winning $100,000! Its British predeccessor has proved compulsive watching and the US version looks set to be equally as popular.

Finally available in the UK from Friday 1st January 2021

Cobra Kai (Season Three)

Season three, already? Well, the series ‘Cobra Kai’ was originally streamed via the platform ‘YouTube Red’ and only bought by ‘Netflix’ in June 2020 hence why the steady stream of series drops. Not for the want of trying though, Netflix has been trying to obtain the spin-off/sequel comedy-drama for some time. Season one saw the characters of the 1980s Karate Kid franchise reunite and the series soon became the most watched on Netflix during the late summer of 2020. All ten episodes of season three will be available this week.
