Aditi Mittal: Things they wouldn’t let me say.

Indian comedians on Netflix with their own show are rare to find even in this day and age. Being female and Indian  so Aditi Mittal has her work cut out but here she is with her stand up comedy special on Netflix, tackling issues like feminism, sex and Indian culture.

Available from 18th July 2017

Ozark

The 10-episode series begins with Marty Byrde,a white middle-class financial planner/money launderer, relocating from Chicago to Missouri to try and pay back the money laundered from a Mexican drug cartel. Byrde is played by Jason Bateman who also happens to have directed half of the episodes. Mr Byrde and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney)and two kids find themselves on a journey of a series of events as they settle in their new home town. Critique so far details the show as dark and violent with an overly used basic storyline of main character tries to save family but creates more issues. Apparently, it is slow to start but does get better. If you can spare the time to stick with the first couple of episodes, let us know your thoughts.

Available from 21st July 2017

Last Chance U – Season 2

Netflix Original Documentary series following the upcoming stars of the American, NFL in, Scooba, Mississippi with their coach Buddy Stephens. The series documents the player’s lives on and off the field and the methods used to achieve success come under criticism.

Joe Mande’s Award Winning Comedy Special

Jo Mande most famous for his writing in the final three seasons of “Parks and Recreation” is also an actor and comedian. “Joe Mande’s Award Winning Comedy Special” is his debut stand up comedy show on Netflix and is sure to impress. The trailer shows some pretty gross toilet humour material that I’m sure people will relate to. The show lasts for one hour and looks set to be pretty funny.
