Army Of The Dead

Picture the scene – Las Vegas is in ruins after an apocalyptic zombie outbreak became a global war against the undead. Zombies are contained in quarantine zones one of which surrounds the once famous Las Vegas strip. Scott Ward, hailed a hero during the war, finds himself with a proposition from a casino owner. Infiltrate the quarantine zone and extract $200 million dollars from a vault beneath the strip. With a timeframe of 32 hours before the government destroy the area, Ward accepts the proposal and with his self-assembled team of experts, the task is set. There’s just one other thing – these are not your average zombies. They may be the undead but they are more clever, faster and organised than we’ve ever seen before in zombie fiction. Stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi and Samantha Win.

Master Of None (Season Three – Moments in Love)

Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang return their popular series of ‘Master of None’ only this time it is moving in a different direction or perhaps more accurately a parallel narrative. Denise and Alicia are the main focus of this brand new season of Master of None titled ‘Moments in Love’. They are a married couple and the series surrounds them in their marriage and all that entails through the highs and lows, including fertility. Viewers will no doubt recall Dev from former seasons as being friends with Denise. Denise’s character in the original scripting was neither gay nor African-American but when Lena Waithe was cast it was rewritten for her to bring some of her personality into the part. Waithe has co-scripted this third season alongside Ansari.
