One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! Fate: The Winx Saga

A school of magic and friendships in ‘The Otherworld’, Altea College is a boarding school in the ‘Otherworld’. Whilst trying to avoid meeting ‘The Burned Ones’ on the outside of the college walls, the series follows five fairy pupils as they navigate magic, love and relationships within their circle but monsters have a way of infiltrating. The teenage fantasy drama is a magical coming of age experience but be warned; it is aimed at young adult, not pre-teens.

So My Grandma’s a Lesbian

Imagine in the run up to your marriage into a conservative family, you find out your 70-something grandmother has come out and is in a relationship and you must set off to visit her and find out more. On the way, you meet a young man who gives you a lift, under duress and turns out to be the son of your grandmother’s beau. That’s exactly the plot of this fun-feel chaotic comedy. The film stars Rosa María Sardà, Verónica Forqué, and Ingrid García Jonsson.

The White Tiger

A rich Indian couple employs a driver who has high aspirations but is impoverished and treated badly. With an ambition to not only survive as a servant but to thrive as an entrepreneur, he seizes the chance when the opportunity arises. Calling himself The White Tiger (only one in every generation) he sets out to succeed, whatever the cost! The film is based on the bestselling novel by Aravind Adiga, directed and written for the screen by Ramin Bahrani and stars Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Rajkummar Rao.

Watching glass blowing may seem like a relaxing, satisfying pass time but not when it is against the clock in a high-pressured, high-heat environment. This fast-paced competition reality TV show sees professional glass-blowers go head to head for the prestigious title that will see them world-renowned in their field.
