Netflix aren’t always that clear about geographical availability so please bear with us as we try to be as precise as possible about where Netflix Originals will be available.

Bridgerton

The social season is afoot and Miss Daphne Bridgerton is thrust into the treacherous game of finding a suitor. Swimming amongst the many potential suitors interested, finding the right one is seemingly impossible. When she meets the duke who is equally as tired of matchmakers attempting to marry off their wards to him, the pair form an unlikely neutral alliance. As rumours of scandal spread, the gossip is rife and the stakes are upped in this romantic-comedy period drama. Perfect for a Christmas Day binge-watch.

We Can Be Heroes

Aliens have invaded the Earth and kidnapped the planet’s superheroes. Now it is up to their kids to save the day but first, they have been whisked away to a government safe house and must find a way to escape. Missy Moreno (Yaya Gosselin) decides to rescue her superhero dad by finding a way to escape their ‘safe house’ and the mysterious government agent in charge; Ms Granada (Priyanka Chopra Jonas). From elasticity to time control to predicting the future the kids all have their own individual powers but they must combine them to save their parents and the world. Directed by Robert Rodriguez, yes the director of The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl and YES this IS a sequel to the 2005 film! The kids in ‘We Can Be Heroes’ are the offspring of the superhero kids of the original cult hit film. Taylor Dooley returns to reprise her child star role of Sharkgirl as an adult however, the original Sharkboy actor Taylor Lautner has been replaced with ‘Spy Kids’ actor JJ Dashnaw. Rodriguez also directed Spy Kids which leaves us wondering how this took so long to create! This stand-alone sequel also stars Pedro Pascal, Boyd Holbrook, Christian Slater, Chris McDonald, and Adriana Barraza and is set to win the hearts of a whole new generation.

Available from Friday 25th December 2020

Cops and Robbers

Timothy Ware-Hill directs this beautiful response to racial injustice and brutality from the police. Including work from no less than thirty artists, the short film is a multimedia presentation of emotion, starkly suppressed for too long. Different styles of animation, set to a soundtrack of spoken word combine to deliver this emotionally charged piece of art that responds to the events of 2020 that demand a response to decades of oppression.
