Crazy About Her

Adri and Carla have only just met but that doesn’t stop them from having the best night of their lives. Despite the fun, they both decide it was a one-off occasion and vow never to see each other again. Adri then finds himself smitten, thinking about Carla non-stop and sets out to find her. After discovering she is a resident at a mental health centre and is forbidden visits, he checks in as a resident himself to see her again. This brave piece Netflix is calling a dark comedy is addressing mental health in modern terms and assessing what it is to need support. Adri soon realises that his love story is not quite unfolding the way he had mapped out and in fact, he now has his own issues to address. We’re hoping that this comedic story, underpinned by a mental health narrative, will be handled as sensitively as 2021 demands. Starring Álvaro Cervantes and Susana Abaitua as Adri and Carla.

The Girl On The Train

‘The Girl on the Train’ sits on the same train day in, day out. Watching the houses and their occupants as she passes them until they occupy her mind, unravelling her own demons. Caught up in a murder investigation she must overcome herself, traumatised by her drinking and her past to find answers. Based on Paula Hawkin’s 2015 Novel ‘The girl on the Train’ which became a hit movie in 2017.  This Hindi version of the story first began filming in 2019 but became yet another unfortunate victim of the pandemic with a delay to its release. The movie is filmed in Britain; in London and Norfolk. Starring Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, Sammy Jonas Heaney and Avinash Tiwary
