The Mitchells vs The Machines

It’s family movie time! Sony Pictures Animation presents ‘The Mitchells vs The Machines’. Teenager Katie is on her way to be dropped off at film school, in her parent’s car. The family road trip takes a surprising turn when it appears that electronics have risen up against humans. With effectively an army of robots attempting to take over the planet, there is only one family who can save the day. Unfortunately, they don’t consider themselves quite right for the job. Referring to themselves as the ‘weird’ family, the Mitchells each shy away from eye contact, have special interests and enjoy their own company. With the help of two amiable robots, they set out to stop the destruction and save the world. This animated film looks like a fun tale with a twist of ‘What is normal anyway?’ from the people behind the ‘Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse’ productions.

Pet Stars

To make it in Hollywood you need representation – this goes for the animals too! The fur-babies and scaled creatures on the books of ‘Pets on Q’ are the real stars of this show that follows the team of talent agents. There’s no exploitation here though. With a team of staff, ‘Pets on Q’ pet talent agency emerged from an idea of founder Colleen when she rescued a deaf dalmatian ‘Charlie’. When Charlie began to bag exclusive roles, other pet owners wanted their pets to feature too. Colleen is big on the safety and well-being of the animals and ensures their best interests are always at the top of the agenda.
