Chelsea, an educated single woman dealing with a break-up, is forced to move in with her sister Claire and her three roommates. Chelsea is seemingly prepared for the worst, considering herself better than her new acquaintances but as she gets to know Claire, Grant, Jayden and Solana, they become the best friends she’s had. The new sitcom is set in L.A and stars Emily Osment and Olivia Macklin, Gregg Sulkin, Cinthya Carmon and Michael Hsu Rosen.

The Babysitter’s Club
Calling all pre-teens, the gang are back with two new members Jessi and Mallory. The girls must navigate changes within the club and their individual lives in this much-anticipated sequel to the initial remake 2020 series of the cult-fan book series of the 90s. With eight episodes ‘The Babysitter’s Club’ returns this week and we know fans will be excited to see the return of the girls.

Convergence: Courage in a Crisis
This documentary film follows nine individuals across eight regions of the world during the coronavirus pandemic Covid-19. Examining some of the other crisis situations the world is experiencing simultaneously and listening to those who put themselves on the frontline in an attempt to bring about sustainable change – to make a difference. The film is just short of two hours and seeks to raise awareness of cultural and social injustice.

This emotionally charged dramatic film begins with a woman lying alone. In order to remember who she is and how she got there, she must listen to the voice of a young boy David who is seemingly guiding her to the truth. Uncovering her story and his own she is dragged through memories that are painful and exhausting but in doing so, maybe, just maybe she can make it home. Directed by award-winning Peruvian filmmaker Claudia Llosa the film is co-written with the author of the 2014 novel on which the film is based. ‘Distancia de Rescate’ by Samanta Schweblin.

A World Without
Ali and Sofia Khan are the charismatic leaders of an organisation known as ‘The Light,’ sold as a new life for young people to make a difference in the world. When three young women, disappointed in the world they live in where dating is forbidden, join the organisation they soon realise that all is not good at ‘The Light’ and the girls must find a way out at all costs. The film stars Amanda Rawles, Maizura and Tarung Sarong as the three young women who have dreams that are promised to them by Ali and Sofia (Chicco Jerikho and Ayushita.) The director of the film Nia Dinata intentionally created a female-dominated space behind the scenes as well as within the female empowerment message of the film. The film also stars Jerome Kurnia, Richard Kyle and Dira Sugandi.
