Brews Brothers

With all the craziness that is going on it the world right now, we’re crying out for some laughter. This new Netflix Original sitcom series offers just that by way of cringeworthiness and crudity. Will’s (Alan Aisenberg) brewery is struggling, causing one of his misfit workers to call in his estranged brother Adam (Mike Castle). The two brothers must now put their differences aside if they are to micro-manage the business and get it back on an even keel. With constant sexual references and highly inappropriate not-so-subtle nuances at every turn; if being shocked is your thing then this is the one for you, delivered in bite-sized 30-minute episodes.

Grover (Tzi Ma) addresses some of the big decisions he made in his life in an attempt to reach out to his estranged daughter. He talks of the love he knew as a young man and how he abandoned it to seize the opportunity to start a new life in America with a woman he had little in common with. Delving into his past, Grover attempts to heal old wounds and right wrongs. This short but sweet film (just 1 hour 31 minutes long) is packed with emotion. Also starring ‘Christine Ko’ and ‘Hong-Chi Lee’.
