One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. When a young Jewish man everybody calls ‘Motti’ falls for his classmate Laura he finds himself going against religion and family tradition to choose his own life companion over an arranged marriage. He must now face the consequence of his family, particularly his mother if he is to pursue his own dreams.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Jesse Pinkman, still played by Aaron Paul (thank goodness!) is back. This time in a ‘Breaking Bad’ Movie! The movie takes off where the extremely popular series left off. Jesse has escaped and is on the run. Now he must look forward if he is to build any kind of future but to look forward is to come to terms with the past.

Insatiable (Season Two)

Patty (Debby Ryan) is back with her ‘Insatiable’ appetite for destruction. Season one saw Patty return to school after having her jaw wired shut all summer due to an injury. Her previous life of being bullied for being fat was over but that wasn’t enough and she took revenge on those that had made her life hell. Now she’s back for season two and she’s not done yet. The girl is eaten up with hatred for the haters of this world and is on a mission to destroy them. Dallas Roberts returns as Robert Armstrong Jr. The failed attorney who coaches beauty pageant contestants and maybe Patty’s one real champion.

On a road trip to Minneapolis, a father almost loses his daughter in an accident. He and his wife rush her to the hospital where the doctor recommends a scan to confirm everything is ok. Rae Monroe (Sam Worthington) waits patiently for his wife and daughter to return from the routine scan only to find, they don’t! After hours of waiting he challenges staff on their whereabouts only to be told, they have no record of the family visiting the hospital at all! Rae sets out on a mission to find answers to his family’s whereabouts, leaving no stone unturned. Will he find them and why is the hospital seemingly covering up their disappearance? You’ll have to watch this psychological thriller to find out.

Ghosts of Sugar Land

We end this week’s recommendations on a disturbing documentary made by a group of young American Muslim men whose long-time friend Mark has disappeared. The film is a candid look at Marks life and his online persona after converting to Islam as they suspect he has joined the terrorist group ISIS. The young men all wear masks throughout filming so as not to be identified and subsequently accused or suspected of anything Mark may be involved in.
