All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 14th September 2018)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

As Netflix increase their Original content, here’s our ‘Top Picks’ list for this week (Full summary of additions at the end of the post).

The Angel

This film adaptation of the book by Uri Bar-Joseph, telling the true story of Ashraf Marwan (Marwan Kenzari). Marwan, the husband of the Egyptian President’s daughter was a special advisor in Egypt. He continued this role and also became a confidant to the president’s successor; President Sadat. Marwan became Mossad’s most important intelligence agent of the 20th Century and his code name was ‘The Angel’.

American Vandal (Season Two)

After the success of series one of the spoof documentary series and the popularity of the documentary genre on Netflix, ‘American Vandal’ is back. Filmmakers, Peter Maldonado, and Sam Ecklund visit the staff and students of St Bernadine, a private school with a vandal problem much worse than the car vandalism of season one. Exclusive interviews feature to investigate who the vandal, who has identified himself as ‘The Turd Burglar’, really is. WARNING features ‘real live footage’ of the incident. 💩💩💩💩💩

The Land of Steady Habits

Ben Mendelsohn is Anders Hill, a wealthy husband, and father working in finance. In a bid to release himself from all that he has become, he resigns from his high-pressure job and leaves his wife to start a new, more relaxed life. Unfortunately, Anders discovers that life isn’t as easy as that and the path to freedom is far rockier than he imagined. The trailer is definitely one of those that leaves you with not much of an idea about characters or plotline, therefore with only the synopsis in mind, why not give it a go and let us know your thoughts? Hopefully, the film is better than the trailer.
