The boys are back in town as the popular make-over show returns. Originally ‘Queer Eye For The Straight guy’ the show won awards for its novel take on a traditional make-over show. Advising people on anything from fashion to food and culture to interior design, the fantastic five specialists change peoples lives for the better. The first two seasons of the revamped show were added to Netflix in February and June 2018 and both consist of eight episodes. Season three visits individuals from all walks of life that need to find their sparkle and the team are ready to help.

Turn Up Charlie
Idris Elba uses his experience as a talented DJ as well as an actor to deliver the story of ‘Charlie’ (played by Elba himself) a talented DJ who had his day on the decks but is now washed up providing sets at weddings rather than the club scene of Ibiza. Charlie’s friend David, however, has made it big as an actor and married world famous DJ Sara (Piper Perabo). When the pair have a job for Charlie it is the last thing he expects but can supervising their spoilt 11-year old daughter Gabby help him make a comeback? The series is only eight episodes long which may be a blessing if we are to take notice of the brutal reviews the series has already received with Elba criticised not for wanting to make a comedy but for doing it in all the wrong ways. Check it out and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Available globally from Friday 15th March 2019
Amy Schumer: Growing
The Stand Up Comedy Special to hit Netflix this week is Amy Schumer’s ‘Growing’. My Husband Won’t Fit
Now, following Amy Schumer’s stand up show, and from the title ‘My Husband Won’t fit’, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this was either another comedy special or a documentary from the makers of ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ but, it is neither. It is actually a love story of a young married couple, Kumiko and Kenichi who discover they have an unusual problem in the bedroom. The series follows their journey as they learn what it really is to love one another. This sensitive Japanese series stars Natsumi Ishibashi and Aoi Nakamura.
Antoine Griezmann: The Making of a Legend
“Barca had Messi, Real had Cristiano, Atletico has Antoine Greizmann” This sporting documentary takes a look at French footballer Antoine Greizmann’s life from his early career at Real Sociedad in 2009 to his accomplishments at Atletico Madrid and for his national team.
