All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 19th January 2018)

One of the great things about Netflix are their Netflix Originals – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

As Netflix become even more cryptic about geographical availability please bear with us as we try to be as precise as possible about the regions Netflix Originals are available.

Lets start off the week with a fun kids show…

The Open House

Dylan Minnette and Piercey Dalton star as Logan and his single mother Naomi in this chilling american horror, ‘The Open House’. After the death of Logan’s father, Naomi relocates them to a new town. Their new, typically larger than average house is not what it seems and they soon discover that something is going on within it’s walls. Minette previously starred in the family movie Goosebumps where he and his single mother moved to a new house in a new town and end up fighting monsters. Hmmmmm. No, seriously, if the trailer is anything to go by it looks set to be terrifyingly brilliant!

Drug Lords

Over the course of Season One, we’ll delve into the sordid histories and bloody reigns of some of the most notoriously driven, twisted, and sadistic drug lords the world has ever seen. From cartel leaders with global reach, like Colombia’s Pablo Escobar and his Medellín empire’s nearly 20-year stranglehold on the world’s cocaine market, to homespun evil geniuses like Cornell Jones and his dubious invention of Washington, DC’s “open-air” drug market, DRUG LORDS will span the world to tell the tales of the king and queenpins who peddled death to the people and reaped enormous rewards. But what goes up, must come down: every hour will track our anti-heroes’ Shakespearean trajectory as we watch them rise from rags-to-riches, and then descend into despair, prison or worse…death.
