All Day and a Night

‘Jahkor’ (Ashton Sanders) dreams of being a rapper. When he learns he is to become a father his ambition to provide for his new family drives him to make decisions that preceded him as the son of a man in prison for his own actions. In a gang-war in Oakland, Jahkor finds himself following his father’s footsteps landing himself in prison beside his father, J.D (Jeffrey Wright). Jahkor, frustrated that he has taken the same path of his father that he swore he wouldn’t, begins a journey of self-discovery as he hopes to break the cycle that feels unavoidable, for his newborn son.

The Half Of It

Not for Ellie, but for someone else that he needs to write a love letter to. Who else would be better to write a letter as him to his crush, why no other than Ellie Choo of course but will that go to plan? You’ll have to watch to find that out but we’re placing bets its a love story of a different kind.
