All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 20th April 2018)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This documentary series provides viewers with a gritty insight into the world of the illegal drug trade. Follow the investigators as they attempt to stop the smuggling of narcotics at every opportunity.

Four life-long friends prepare to leave high school behind as they approach the life beyond the hall monitors and skipping class. But this coming of age story has a difference as these dudes aren’t guys at all but females of the species that are all empowered young women ready to take on the world one joint at a time. The girls must navigate some of life’s biggest challenges usually whilst high.

Mercury 13

The second documentary this week takes the form of a one-off examination of the groundbreaking women’s space program of 1961 that rigorously tested and prepared for space missions. The program was halted by NASA in favour of men only, being selected to take part in the final missions. The story follows some of the key female astronauts as they campaigned for women in space and laid the foundations for the possibilities female astronauts have today.

A retired photographer (Ed Harris) enlists the help of his estranged son (Jason Sudeikis) to drive him to Kansas in search of one of the only traditional film developers still remaining in a digital world. After discovering he has a terminal illness and whilst getting his affairs in order he finds the rolls of film undeveloped. His reluctant son agrees along with his other half (Elizabeth Olsen) to set off on this challenging road trip that explores the journey of their relationship in the process.

All parents will totally relate to this Australian comedy drama series, new to Netflix and those thinking about starting a family may think twice after watching Audrey, a first time mother, come to terms with all things they don’t tell you about becoming a parent.

The TV star returns to the stage to showcase his new stand up show filmed in New York. The Hollywood star Covers topics such as parenting, gaining weight and other mid-life issues in his naturally funny way.
