All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 20th May 2022)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

Check out the trailers below and let us know what you’re looking forward to this week -a full list of this week’s additions and regional availability at the end of the post. Netflix isn’t always that clear about geographical availability so please bear with us as we try to be as precise as possible about where Netflix Originals will be available.

The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem

A shopkeeper, after the first world war, marries the beautiful Rosa but she is not the one who holds his heart. As the pair grow their family, their world is forever shadowed by this fact. Set in 1919 the series is based on the novel of the same name. The story spans decades as Rosa’s daughter Luna wonders why her connection with her mother is so weak. Stars Michael Aloni,Hila Saada and Swell Ariel Or.

F*ck Love Too

Lisa, Angela, and Kiki are on a girls vacation to forget Lisa’s ex Jim. The women are soon to discover the trip to Ibiza holds more in store than they ever expected. The romantic comedy sees the group deal with new and past lovers and circumstances that throw a spanner in the works. What ensues is a comedic summer fest of love triangles, cheating and friend-zones in this chaotic romantic comedy.

Available from Friday 20th May 2022

Love Death and Robots

This third installment of the popular animation anthology by David Fincher and Tim Miller sees nine animated stories from horror to romantic comedy. Of course a healthy does of science fiction is included too. The anthology series includes stories from the minds that brought us MINDHUNTER, Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate and Mank. There’s literally something for everyone as the series explores different genres and themes of animation.

Available from Friday 20th May 2022

David Letterman: My Next Guest Needs No Introduction

Letterman returns for a fourth season of his popular talk show. Each episode sees the long-time host quiz a household name from the world of celebrity including Cardi B, Kevin Durant, Billie Eilish, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ryan Reynolds, and Will Smith. Check out these snippets from his interviews with Cardi B and Ryan Reynolds.

Ricky Gervais: SuperNature

The controversial comedian is back and love him or hate him it’s his stand-up comedy this time, just as we are recovering from his darkly-comic Netflix series ‘After Life’. Expect lots of controversy and guilt as the man continues to use his gift to make us laugh where we shouldn’t. Touching on topics of Hitler, death, famine, you know light subjects with a touch of pandemic jokes thrown in for good measure.  If you are firmly in the hate camp (it seems Gervais creates a strong divide) then we recommend you just give this one a miss.
