One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! Paris Is Us

With rising tension in the capital of France, a young couple, wildly in love, navigate life through their passionate eyes. Blurring the lines of dreams and reality this romantic french film stars Noémie Schmidt (Versailles) as Anna, a twenty-something woman who after experiencing a near-death experience begins to analyse her life, past and present, including her relationships and the world around her. Think arty, romantic and a little bit niche in this movie that is bound to leave you questioning your own thoughts.

The Photographer of Mauthausen

A prisoner from Catalan, in a concentration camp, during world war two risks his life to steal photographic negatives in a bid to expose the inside of the Nazi-run camp to the world. The film, based on true events is accompanied by an orchestral musical score which only adds to the powerful narrative. It’s an emotional week for Netflix Originals this week and ‘The Photographer of Mauthausen’ serves as an important reminder to us of the atrocities that took place in a time that is almost unimaginable to us now.

Workin’ Moms (Season One)

With all this serious and emotional content this week Netflix had to throw in some light-hearted viewing and the first of two this week is ‘Working Moms’ Th hilarious Canadian comedy series follows the lives of a group of women who are nearing the end of the maternity leave period and returning to work; building their careers, managing their intimate relationships and trying to be the best mother they can be. In short, they are navigating life as ‘Workin Moms’.

Isn’t It Romantic

Living life as an architect in the city Rebel Wilson plays Natalie, a young woman who doesn’t believe in fairy tales, in the second comedy Original this week, the film ‘Isn’t It Romantic’. When she is rendered unconscious by an attacker on the subway, Natalie awakes to find she is living in an alternative universe where everything appears to have a filter. Natalie’s life has become a romantic comedy film of which she is the star and now she must find her leading man.
