All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 22nd June 2018)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! As Netflix increase their Original content, here’s our ‘Top Picks’ list for this week (Full summary of additions at the end of the post).

Brain on Fire

A young woman with her whole life ahead of her struggles to maintain her high flying career and personal life as her mind and body begin to suffer. Doctors seemingly are unable to find a reason for the downward spiral Susannah Cahalan’s body is experiencing. Questioning her psychological status, it becomes harder to fight to find the cause but, surrounded by the ones she loves, the determination to get to the bottom of this mysterious illness is strong. Based on a true story, ‘Brain on Fire’ is an emotionally charged, independent film starring Chloe Grace Moretz.

Well if you thought you’d seen it all on Netflix, you haven’t. As they continue to add Original content that is just that; ‘original’ here comes ‘Cooking On High’. Two chefs go head to head in a cook-off style show complete with a panel of judges and scoring paddles. So what sets this apart from other cooking shows? The chefs are cooking with cannabis.
