One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! Sofia watches people. She is a reserved girl with little social interaction but she has learned people and their lives by observation. When an anonymous hacker begins sharing peoples darkest secrets publicly at El Colegio Nacional school, Sofia sets out to find out who is responsible. It can’t be that hard, can it? Along the way, Sofia makes new friends and learns the meaning of empathy. Starring; Ana Valeria Becerril and Michael Ronda.

History 101

This new British documentary series offers history lessons in bite-sized chunks. Examining scientific breakthroughs to social movements and discoveries, ‘History 101′ is a blend of infographics and archived footage that delivers a history lesson to all ages in manageable episodes that answer questions like when were televisions mass-produced and why do we love fast-food so much. It also looks at big events like landing on the moon and other widely reported and lesser-known facts that span the last 100 years.

The Lovebirds

Jibran and Leilan (Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae) are madly in love BUT every love story has a defining moment right? Well, When they accidentally hit a cyclist with their car and are hijacked by the person chasing the cyclist who then proceeds to kill him with their car, the loved up couple set off on a night of craziness to prove their innocence. Can they find the evidence they need? More importantly, will their marriage survive such a night of events? This dark comedy from Netflix lands on Friday after a delay from its world premiere scheduled for March 2020 and its cinema release on April 3rd due to Covid-19 coronavirus scare. Netflix purchased the movie and now we can all enjoy all 86 mins of this short farcical movie on the streaming platform.

Betaal

From the filmmakers of ‘Get Out’, ‘Insidious’ and  ‘Bard of Blood’, ‘Betaal’ is an Indian horror story series that challenges the genre of traditional horror. In order to build a highway, Sirohi sets out on a mission to displace the natives of Campa forest. In doing so he and his team accidentally unleash the curse of Betaal mountain that wreaks havoc on the people and threatens to end civilization as we know it. Starring ‘Viineet Kumar Singh’ and ‘Jitendra Joshi’, the series was written and directed by ‘Patrick Graham’ and ‘Nikhil Mahajan’.

Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich

Prior to his 2019 arrest, Jeffrey Epstein was expected of abusing women and underage girls for decades. Epstein was not born into money but became very rich as he climbed his way to the top of the financial A-list. The documentary features Epstein’s accusers as they are interviewed in this four-part docuseries. Filmmaker Lisa Bryant and executive producer Joe Berlinger presents ‘Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich’, a documentary series that seeks to avoid future scandal by the rich and powerful, to prevent such cover-ups of heinous sexual crimes, with their riches.
