Good Girls (Season Three)

‘Good Girls’ is back! The suburban mothers have come a long way since season one when, as disgruntled Michigan women they decided to rob a supermarket. The unlikely ‘criminals’ believe they are able to finally move on after the gun challenge in the season two finale with Rio, ended with Rio being out of the picture. As they attempt to move on and get jobs on the side, new characters are introduced and the women find themselves dealing with issues not wrapped up in season two after all. NBC/Netflix have announced a season four is in production so expect a big cliffhanger but lots of laughs and cringe in the meantime in the eleven-episode comedy crime drama.

Last Chance U: Laney

The documentary that follows college league American footballers on and off-screen in their lives and their journeys returns with a trip to Laney. This fifth instalment of ‘Last Chance U’ features eight episodes in this new-to-the-show college in Oakland, California. The first two seasons of the show followed events at East Mississippi Community College before the action was shifted to Independence Community College in Kansas for seasons three and four. Netflix has confirmed that whilst this is the final season of ‘Last Chance U’ in its current form, the show is set to birth a spin-off surrounding basketball in the same-behind the seasons and on pitch-format. This is likely to land sometime in 2021 so, watch this space.

Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons (Season Four)

In the next documentary landing this week, Inside The Worlds Toughest Prisons – season four – investigative journalist ‘Raphael Rowe’ goes deep into prisons in Paraguay, Germany, Mauritius, and Lesotho.
