*One of the great things about Netflix are their Netflix Originals – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

It’s Christmaaaaaaassssss! Ok, so it’s not but it is the start of December and so we are getting all festive here at New On Netflix HQ. Kicking off December with a season premiere, a second season update, a kids series, a documentary, a stand-up comedy special and a partridge in a pear treeeeeee… Sorry, we’re at it again. *Slaps own wrist*

The first week of December looks a little like this…

84 year old journalist Gay Talese documents one of the most fascinating stories of his journalistic career. The story of Gerald Foos, the Colorado motel owner famed for his obsession with his guests private moments. Building a platform in the motels attic and recording details as he spied on the guests in their rooms, Foos was eventually caught but this documentary flips the story on it’s head as Talese’s fascination with Foos and what he did, takes hold. As interviews and in depth study take place, Talese has no choice but to trust Foos as his main source of information causing his fascination to grow. Who’s the voyeur now?

Available Friday 1st December 2017

Hailed as the next series to binge watch if you loved ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Dark’ is the supernatural tale of four families in Germany who are directly affected as two young children go missing. In German with English subtitles this ten episode series set in the same town in both 1986 and the present day, looks set to be chilling in the way supernatural narratives should be and we are super excited about it. The question is not why, how or who took these children, but when?!
