All those who love sneakers (or trainers as we call them here in the UK) say aye! This fun short -it’s only six episodes long- comedy series introduces us to Devin (Allen Maldonado) and his best mate Bobby (Andrew Bachelor). Devin is a self-confessed ex-Sneakerhead. He gave up collecting kicks for parenthood. Now settled down as a stay-at-home dad driving around in a minivan, he allows himself to get suckered into a get-rich-quick scheme by his friend Bobby. When he loses 5k in the process, he is forced to get back in the sneakers game to recoup the lost cash before his beloved finds out what is going on. Devin soon finds himself embroiled in a plan to find the elusive ‘Zeroes’ sneakers and a race against time begins in said mini-van with a few new recruits. Expect lots of little gaffs and a few biggies. The new series consists of just 6 episodes that will land together this week.
Whose Vote Counts, Explained
What better time to watch a documentary on the US voting system. ‘Whose Vote Counts, Explained’ is an investigative look into how the voting system works, how it doesn’t and what can be done about it to change the future of voting in the US.
There doesn’t seem to be a trailer for this three-episode miniseries or actually anything much other than a brief synopsis. Maybe that is worth noting, maybe not. We still felt it may be important to share its release at this time. Catch it this week.

American Murder: The Family Next Door
When pregnant mother of two Shan’ann Watts and her daughters went missing in Frederick, Colorado in August 2018, those around her were worried but something didn’t sit right with the reactions of her husband Chris Watts. As it became apparent that they had been murdered and their deaths made headlines worldwide, Shanann’s husband became a suspect and soon it was apparent that he wasn’t the man he appeared to be to those around them. With footage from social media accounts, formal and informal interviews ‘The Family Next Door’ documents how a seemingly happy family came to be so unhappy and how it came to pass that Shann’ann, Bella (4) and Celeste (3) were so cruelly taken from this world.

The Boys In The Band

When a surprise guest arrives the men play a game to include him in their ‘the one you really loved’ truth or dare type challenge to coax him out of the closet. The film stars Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesús, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins. The film is produced by Ryan Murphy and is directed by Joe Mantello with the artistic input of original writer Mart Crowley.
