ReMastered: Devil at the Crossroads

Robert Johnson lived by that name and his many aliases for just 27 years. There is such little documentation about his life and early death that later musical artists have tried to contact him after his death about his music. He was credited as one of the most influential musical artists but when Johnson first began his musical career it is said that he could scarcely play the guitar. Legend has it that Johnson sold his soul to the devil at a crossroads one day in exchange for his musical career. The ‘ReMastered’ series delves into the life of Robert Johnson through interviews with those who knew him personally and those who are inspired by his music in an attempt to uncover the mystery surrounding a young man’s incredible talent, his short life and the legend that has grown out of the unknown.

Knock Down the House

In 2018, 529 women ran for Congress in America. ‘Knock Down the House’ features behind the scene footage of just four of them throughout their campaigns as they challenge the narrative and traditions of a system that is not representative of those voting for it. Gruelling and emotional, this short documentary film is less than an hour and a half and shows the difficulties experienced and the emotional journeys of these women as they attempt to make a difference. “For one of us to make a difference, a hundred of us have to try”.
