All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 26th January 2018)

One of the great things about Netflix are their Netflix Originals – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

As Netflix become even more cryptic about geographical availability please bear with us as we try to be as precise as possible about the regions Netflix Originals are available.

One Day at a Time ( Season Two)

One Day at a Time returns in its second season of this remake of the Norman Lear classic of the same name. The Alvarez family are comprised of single mum and two kids each with their own issues as they continue to navigate life in this comedy series.

Fakkah Fuzz: Almost Banned

The first of three stand up comedy specials coming to Netflix this week. Filmed in October 2017 at Capitol Theater, Singapore, ‘Almost Banned’ conjures up laughter from a Singaporean audience about Singaporean culture including language, parenting and everyday issues.

Llama Llama

This new pre-school kids animated show featuring the voice of Jennifer Garner as ‘Mama Llama’ follows a young Llama as he navigates the world. Based on the hugely successful book series written and illustrated by Anna Dewdney, ‘Llama Llama’ seems to be the new ‘Caillou’ with its educational and moralistic episodes. Dewdney sadly passed away in 2016 aged just 50, what a legacy she leaves to children worldwide.

Available Friday 26th January 2018

Mau Nieto: Viviendo Sobrio…desde el bar

As part of Netflix commitment to showcase comedians for Latin American audiences, Mau Nieto is the third of seven Mexican comedians the remainder of which will all feature throughout to 2018. His show ‘Viviendo Sobrio…Desde el Bar’ (translated Living Sober…from the bar) is filmed in Spanish and funnily enough largely features issues around remaining sober, amongst other topics. Other countries to be featured will include Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and Chile. The first special of Argentina will also come to Netflix this month (see below.)

Sebastian Marcelo Wainraich

Filmed at the City of Arts Theatre in Cordoba, Argentina in August 2017, Sebastian Marcelo Weinraich is a 43-year-old, Argentinian, writer, actor and comedian. His stand up comedy special, which takes his name as the title, focuses on day-to-day life in Argentina.
