One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. A group of young men disappear when out at sea one night during their bid to find a better life. Those left behind include 17-year-old Ada who grieves for the loss of her true love; construction worker Souleiman. In the midst of the marriage plans for her and the one chosen to be her betrothed, she feels her true love’s return. Is he here for revenge like his colleagues over the poor work conditions they had or has he returned for Ada?

A lonesome neurosurgeon Lee Kang (Yoon Kye-sang) reunites with chef Moon Cha-young (Ha Ji-won) They embark on a journey finding out more about each other as they work together in a hospice. Cooking for the patients, the pair rekindle over memories of how Moon became a top-class chef after sharing meals together in their younger years. This K-Drama series will begin this week with twice-weekly episodes throughout December and January.

I Lost My Body

Award-winning, highly-acclaimed, French animated movie by Jeremy Clapin. A severed hand finds itself awakened and hopeful of finding the body it belongs to. The film takes a beautifully animated journey to reunite the hand with the body as the body simultaneously sets off on his own journey. The film has been highly praised by critics and won awards at Cannes and Annecy festivals. It has been shown in selected cinemas also.

Dead Kids

What happens when a kid that struggles socially joins forces with a group of not-so-popular kids to teach the rich, arrogant, bully kid, a lesson? Well, everything that isn’t supposed to happen basically. When kidnapping turns deadly the group are in for a shock. Directed by Mikhail Red, the Filipino film has a running time of just 94 mins but don’t let that worry you, it looks jam-packed with action.

Magic For Humans (Season Two)

Popular street magician Justin Willman is back for season two of his shockingly huge and seemingly impossible magic tricks. This time he is a new father and his baby even features in some of his travels. Performing illusions of grandeur whilst maintaining there are no camera tricks involved, Willman wows strangers from all walks of life.

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

‘The Christmas Prince’ is back with a third instalment of the story of Queen Amber and King Richard who are now to embark on a new journey of parenthood. Following a distinctly similar narrative of the two having very different backgrounds and childhoods, the pair must learn how to use their love for each other to find common ground in how to raise a child in a royal household. Fans of the Netflix Christmas movies went crazy this week as the mention of fictional land ‘Aldovia’ where the ‘A Christmas Prince’ films are set was mentioned in last week’s Netflix movie ‘The Knight Before Christmas’ suggesting there may be a Netflix cinematic universe across their Christmas movie content.
