Reboot: The Guardian Code (Season One)

At first glance it seemed this was another great series for pre-teen binge watchers however the trailer soon lost the interest of the kids in our house as it becomes less ‘Greenhouse Academy’ to more, modern-day ‘Power Rangers‘. Based on the CGI animated series on the 1990’s ‘Reboot’, a group of teenagers set out to study at ‘Alan Turing High School’ a technology focused, coding school and discover there is more going on than meets the eye as they are recruited to protect cyberspace as the first human guardians. The original series was groundbreaking as the first TV series with fully computer animated 30 minute episodes. Aside from original fans with a nostalgic interest it will be interesting to see how it appeals to today’s youngsters.
