All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 3rd January 2020)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! Anne With An E (Season Three)

Adorable Anne is back. The precocious red-headed pre-teen returns for the third season of ‘Anne With An E’. Anne is haunted by the lack of knowledge of her past and sets out to discover her true origin story as she finally turns sixteen. Close relationships remain her foundations but Anne feels plagued by her past and she cannot be true to herself or those around her until she solves the mystery of whether she was loved in the beginning. This is the final season of ‘Anne With An E’.

All The Freckles In The World

This Mexican film follows 13-year-old Jose Miguel as he begins life at a new school. After quickly falling for the most popular girl, he knows he must take drastic measures to win her heart. Alongside his new comrades, Jose leads a team of unlikely footballers to compete and attempt to win whilst being totally uninspired by the 1994 World Cup.  Starring; Hanssel Casillas, Loreto Pelalta and Andrea Sutton.

Dracula

This British adaptation of the age-old story of ‘Dracula’ is currently available in the UK via BBC One from the 1st January for three consecutive nights before it becomes available on Netflix for the rest of the world. Those behind the three-part mini-series claim to have taken ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ back to its original roots. Prepare yourself for possibly the most visually graphic interpretation of the story with blood, guts and gore taking centre stage.

Live Twice, Love Once

When Emilio (Oscar Martinez) is diagnosed with the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, he is keen to find the one he considers his one true love. Emilio’s daughter insists he move in with her and her family with his condition in mind and in Emilio’s bid to remember before he forgets, he enlists the help of his young granddaughter and the pair set out on their quest, much to the dismay of his grown-up daughter. Also starring Inma Cuesta and Mafalda Carbonell.

Cheer

Documentary series following the cheerleading team ‘Navarro College, Corsicana of Texas, USA’. Led by coach Monika Aldamer, the team strive for success whilst battling against injuries and personal circumstances. The team have won 14 times in the last two decades at the National Championships so the stakes are always high. The six-episode docu-series is directed by Greg Whiteley, director of Netflix sporting documentary ‘Last Chance U’.
