Netflix aren’t always that clear about geographical availability so please bear with us as we try to be as precise as possible about where Netflix Originals will be available. If in doubt titles will be listed simply as [Original] in the full list at the end of the post and as ‘available in selected regions’ within the post.

Paradise PD (Season Two)

The most outrageous animated content returns as the first of our hot picks, this week. The series that follows a dysunctional police department comes with just about every warning that could be offered but not one that covers the extent the gags reach. If you crave outrage and being offended then this one is most definitely the one to watch – starting with the trailer! If you are a little more sensitive, easily offended or just don’t like to be shocked then look away, look away I said; do NOT watch this trailer under any circumstances. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya!

Sitara: Let Girls Dream

‘Sitara’ is the beautiful works of a small-time Pakistani animation studio ‘Waadi Animations’ with a quest to produce high-quality animation. The 15-minute short story is set in 1970s Pakistan and is about a 14-year-old girl ‘Pari’ who longs to be a pilot, unaware that she is to be betrothed to an older man, should her father have his way. This short ‘behind the scenes’ is a fantastic insight into the making of the powerful piece.
