One of the great things about Netflix are their Netflix Originals – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. Welcome to October! Here’s a preview of what’s New and exclusive to Netflix from Friday 6th October 2017 for the following week. With two kids series updates, a Spanish film, an Italian series, a documentary film, a stand up comedy special, a new anime series and not to mention American intense thriller “Kidnap,” remake series ‘Dynasty‘ and the long-awaited second series of ‘Riverdale’ it’s certainly a jam-packed week full of variety. Suburra: The Series (Season One) (Suburra: Blood on Rome)
First up is brand new Italian series ‘Suburra: The Series.’ “The Series” part providing differentiation from its predecessor film of the same name. The church, state, gangs and even the real estate industry are at war with one another in the struggle for power in Rome. The series consists of 10 episodes.

Starring Halle Berry, this tale of a mother who witnesses her young son being kidnapped in a public place is an intense thriller directed by Luis Prieto.

The Death and Life of Marsha P Johnson
Following his academy nominated film ‘How to survive a plague,’ David France produces ‘The Death and Life of Marsha P Johnson’ for Public Square Films, documenting the story of Marsha P Johnson who is highly regarded the ‘Rosa Parks’ of the LGBT movement.

ID-0 (Season One)
Anime seems to be a popular genre on Netflix at the moment and so fans of the Japanese animation technique will be happy to hear there is another addition to the catalogue. ‘ID-0’ follows the adventures of Alliance Academy student Maya Mikuri (Minami Tsuda) as she operates the i-machines (robots designed to function in extreme environments) she is taken on a different kind of adventure.

Skylanders Academy (Season Two)
Pint-sized dragon Spyro and his gang are back to continue their quest to protect the Skylands universe in this kid’s animated adventure. The series has a cult following and general consensus from teasers and trailers is that this second season looks set to out-perform the first in the entertainment stakes.

World Party (Season Three)
Pre-schoolers will no doubt be overjoyed as will their parents that ‘World Party’ is back for a third season. The Jim Henson Company series is an animated show with a team of singing and dancing baby animals that like to party. Characters; Franny, Lulu, Kip and Bailey help toddlers understand the world socially whilst increasing their vocabulary.

Christina P: Mother Inferior
Stand up comedy special featuring Comedian Christina Pazsitsky on her debut Netflix appearance. Filmed before the audience at Showbox Theatre in Seattle, Christina covers topics such as motherhood, relationship issues, growing up and being an adult.

The series is a remake of cult following series of the same name that span a decade of television running from 1979 to 1989. The new adaptation is set to air on US television on the 11th October but due to Netflix acquiring full international broadcasting rights it will be available in full on Netflix just one day later in its first non-US run. Starring Elizabeth Gillies as ‘Fallon.’ Younger viewers may recall the actress from her ‘Victorious’ days.

Fe De Etarras (Bomb Scared)
‘Fe de etarras’ is a Spanish film that follows a seemingly dysfunctional, armed, group who are in an apartment awaiting the call to action. Meanwhile the Spanish football team have just won the world cup in South Africa and the country is celebrating.

Riverdale (Season Two)
Fans of the all-american series Riverdale will be pleased to hear the second season is returning next Thursday. Following on from the first season where viewers followed the town as it dealt with the untimely death of golden boy Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines.) The not-so-sleepy town of Riverdale addresses secrets held by not only the high school students but the adults also.
