All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 8th December 2017)

One of the great things about Netflix are their Netflix Originals – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge watch! This area is exclusively for Netflix Originals, for general Netflix additions and removals or to view the current full catalogue check out your regional New On Netflix website.

If you’re still making your way through the last couple of weeks additions, you’ll be glad to hear it’s a reasonably quiet week on the Netflix Original front, with just a film, second season series update and a stand up comedy special.

El Camino Christmas

Eric Roth never knew his father. As he sets off on a mission to uncover his roots he is mistaken in the town of El Camino, Nevada for a drug dealer and finds himself caught up in the middle of a Christmas eve robbery with five unsuspecting hostages and the very man he is looking for. Starring Luke Grimes, Jessica Alba and Tim Allen.

Available Friday 8th December 2017

The Crown

Fans of season one of ‘The Crown’ will be overjoyed to hear (and probably are already aware and counting down) that season two will be added to Netflix as an original series this week. The series follows the monarchy alongside the government in maintaining order in Britain in the late 20th century. It is forced to adapt as times change whilst struggling to deal with the private lives of the queen and those closest to her.

Available Friday 8th December 2017

Judd Apatow: The Return

Judd Apatow is the name behind hit comedy movies such as ‘Bridesmaids’, ’40 Year-Old Virgin’ and ‘Trainwreck.’ Whilst the title of this stand up comedy special shows Apatow is no stranger to stand up comedy and his co-production of Netflix Original series ‘Love‘ shows he is no stranger to the world of Netflix Originals, this is his debut stand up comedy special for Netflix and his first return to stand up since the 1990’s. Filmed at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, Apatow covers topics like raising teenage daughters whilst also addressing an issue close to our own hearts; the highs and lows of ‘binge watching.’
