All this week’s Netflix Originals (Available from Friday 8th November 2019)

One of the great things about Netflix is their Netflix Original content – be it films or series made by Netflix themselves or exclusive content available only on Netflix after it airs on regular TV. Every week we will give you a round-up of the new Netflix Originals becoming available in the next week. We will aim to post every week on Thursday evening with what will be available over the coming week. Perfect if you’re looking to check out what new Originals are available to watch over your weekend or if you’re planning a week-long Netflix binge-watch! Green Eggs and Ham

From the much loved Dr Seuss story ‘Green Eggs & Ham’ comes this brand new Netflix production. Executively produced by Ellen Degeneres with the voices of Adam Devine, Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton and narrated by Keegan-Michael Key. On a journey to return the ‘Chickeraffe’ to its natural habitat, Sam accidentally exchanges the case it is in with Guy’s briefcase. The unlikely pair then set out on an adventure to get the ‘Chickeraffe’ home all the while avoiding the poachers! A beautiful representation of Dr Seuss work that will no doubt win a new generation of lovers.

Let it Snow

What happens when you are young and in love and it’s Christmas? ‘Let it Snow’ is the teen Netflix production based on the novel written by YA authors; Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle; ‘Let it Snow: Three Holiday Romances’. The film incorporates the three love stories of the novel into a feel-good American Christmas, movie. In a small town, a snowstorm hits on Christmas Eve and the love lives and friendships of the town’s young people intersect as they enjoy the holidays together.

Jeff Garlin: One Man in Chicago

Jeff Garlin is a long-time, well-known actor, writer and comedian. Not to mention his voice acting for big animation hits such as WALL:E, Paranorman and Toy Story 3. In his show ‘One Man in Chicago’ he celebrates his 37-years in stand up comedy with a set filled with snippets of his life from love and loss to highlights of his career.

Maradona in Mexico

The Argentinian ex-football famed for his ‘hand of God’ goal score of the 1986 World Cup, in the game that saw a 2-1 victory over England; Maradona has been hailed one of the best footballers of all time, in his time. He jointly won the ‘Fifa Player of the 20th Century’ award which he shares with footballer Pele. Now in this global original documentary mini-series, Maradona has agreed to coach a failing Culiacan local team; ‘The Dorados of Sinaloa’. The series follows the trials and tribulations of the challenging journey to raise the team from the bottom of the league and give them hope and aspiration for a brighter future, amidst the drug cartels that surround them.

The Stranded

In this first-ever Thai Netflix Original, the students and teachers of a school for the elite are left stranded when a tsunami hits the Island the school is built upon. Cut off from the outside world they must learn to survive but something is not right. When a teacher seems suspiciously out of sorts, the students begin to realise that all is not as it seems and there is something strangely different, perhaps supernatural, about the island itself.
