AMC are Ending “Better Call Saul” after Six Seasons – Season 5 Coming Soon

AMC have announced that “Breaking Bad” spin-off series “Better Call Saul” will end after its sixth season. Netflix has previously confirmed that season 5 of the show will return with weekly episodes on Netflix UK (and some other regions outside of the USA) from February 24th. The series is a prequel to the incredibly popular “Breaking Bad” and sees Jimmy McGill’s transformation into the dodgy lawyer Saul Goodman. In America the series airs on AMC from Sunday 23rd February.

Season 5 sees Jimmy McGill’s decision to practice law as ‘Saul Goodman’ creating unexpected and profound waves of change for those in his orbit.

  1. I’ll be sad to see the end of it, but it has to end somewhere. It’s a prequel after all, and once Jimmy becomes Saul we’re into Breaking Bad territory. It can only be dragged out so long before Jimmy starts to look much older than Saul.

  2. Going to miss it but makes sense. Mind you, Saul has so far only covered 2002-2004, and BB starts in 2008 so they’ll need to fast forward if they plan to reach the start of BB (assuming they even do of course, might be no need to). Personally I’d like s6 to be about modern day Jimmy. I’d hate for him to be living a lonely obscure life forever.
