Alex Kershaw’s acclaimed WWII nonfiction book “The Liberator” is heading to Netflix in animated form this Veteran’s Day (November 11th). The four-part animated series follows the 157th regiment from Sicily to the heart of Germany in the bloodiest and most dramatic march to victory of the Second World War. The series tells the story of maverick U.S. Army officer Felix Sparks and his infantry unit as they fought for over five hundred days to liberate Europe. You can see the brand new official trailer below.
The Liberator uses a new patent-pending technology called Trioscope™ and is an ‘Enhanced Hybrid Animation’ technology combining state-of-the-art CGI with live-action performance. The series is age-rated at 15 for language, violence and discrimination.
