One of Netflix’s biggest Original series, “Stranger Things”, is getting ready for its 3rd season and Netflix have announced some casting details along with a possible plotline.
Lucas’s little sister Erica (played by Priah Ferguson) is being upgraded to a recurring character – and bringing some friends.
Lucas’ strong-willed little sister returns, only this time with an army of friends. No longer content with sitting on the sidelines, Erica finds herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous and unexpected new threat.
We also have New cast member “Robin” to be played by 19 year old Maya Hawke (“Jo March”, “Little Women”). Given her age, she will likely be part of Jonathan and Nancy’s circle of friends. She is described as:
…an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life… and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins.
Robin is new here and she's "alternative." We love a weirdo and a new resident. Welcome to Hawkins, Maya Hawke. pic.twitter.com/ngdm9j6A3K

So, just what is this “dangerous and unexpected threat”? And will the “dark secret” uncovered by Robin be a new storyline? We’ll have to wait and see… Stranger Things season 3 is likely to arrive in mid-late 2019.
