Canadian comedian Mae Martin will star alongside Lisa Kudrow and others in a new comedy series “Feel Good” which arrives globally on March 19th (excluding the UK where it will be shown on Channel 4). Mae is a stand-up comedian working on the circuit but is also a recovering addict. Mae meets a new (so-far heterosexual) friend George (Charlotte Ritchie) and they end up in an intoxicating romance. However, with Mae still in recovery she needs to juggle her work, her personal life and her addiction while also trying to convert her relationship with George from an addictive one to a healthy one.
The series is described as a deeply personal, dark but hilarious story about two young people navigating the modern-day landscape of love, addiction, and sexuality – and trying to form a meaningful and lasting connection.
“Feel Good” stars: Mae Martin as “Mae”, Charlotte Ritchie as “George”, Lisa Kudrow as Mae’s mom “Linda”, Adrian Lukis as Mae’s dad “Malcolm”, and Sophie Thompson as “Maggie”
Mae Martin stars as herself, a Canadian comedian living in London, navigating a relationship with her new girlfriend, George and dealing with sobriety.
