Dan Stevens and Demi Lovato have joined Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams and Pierce Brosnan in Will Ferrell’s Netflix comedy film “Eurovision”. Stevens (“The Guest”, “Downton Abbey”) will star as Alexander Lemtov, a Russian contestant in the Eurovision song contest and Lovato (“Camp Rock”, “Smurfs: The Lost Village”) will star as Katiana, one of the best and most angelic singers in all of Iceland. Ferrell and Adams will play aspiring Icelandic musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir while Brosnan will star as Erick Erickssong, Lars’ father and the most handsome man in Iceland.
The film follows two aspiring musicians Lars and Sigrit who are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world’s biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for. David Dobkin (“Wedding Crashers”, “The Judge”) will direct the film which is currently in production in the UK and Iceland.
