“Designated Survivor” Cancelled at Netflix

After ABC cancelled “Designated Survivor”, a weekly Netflix Original outside of America, Netflix jumped in to revive the show. Season 3 launched in June 2019 with 10 new episodes but now the show has been cancelled – there will be no fourth season.

We are proud to have offered fans a third season of Designated Survivor, and will continue to carry all three seasons for years to come. We’re especially thankful to star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland, who brought passion, dedication and an unforgettable performance as President Kirkman.

  1. I actually preferred S3 to S2 , guess I’m probably in the minority there. Did make me laugh how the show had become more sweary than a building site , not sure it needed that

  2. We enjoyed watching season 1 & 2 and our daughter loved it. But started episode one of season 3 and boy was it different. Forced, unnecessary swearing, excess sex scenes. Tried to be something it wasn’t. Couldn’t watch it with her, so gave up.

  3. Allyce have you watched s3 yet? Is it better than the wet blanket that was s2? Should have only been a one season show, the characters aren’t strong enough to carry it past the initial drama.
