Enjoyed The Christmas Chronicles? There Could be More Films From Chris Columbus Coming to Netflix

Netflix and Chris Columbus’s 1492 Pictures have struck up a new deal whereby Netflix will get first look at any new projects that the film company want to produce. 1492 Pictures recently produced the popular Christmas film “The Christmas Chronicles” starring Kurt Russell. Columbus started 1492 Pictures with partners Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe in 1994. “The Christmas Chronicles” is the 24th film they have produced together. They collectively have been responsible for numerous franchises beginning with “Home Alone”, “Harry Potter”, “Night At The Museum” and “Percy Jackson”. In 2011, they produced the blockbuster hit “The Help”, which garnered four nominations, including one for Best Picture.
