John Stamos has announced that the 5th and final season of family friendly Netflix Original series “Fuller House” will be released in two parts. While there is no specific date set, it has been previously announced that it will return in Fall (aka Autumn) this year. Stamos, actor and producer for the show, made the announcement during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The spin-off series has been massively popular on Netflix since it’s launch in 2015 and the upcoming season is sure to please fans of the show but, at the same time, be a somewhat bitter-sweet ending to it’s run.
The news comes during some controversy surrounding Lori Loughlin, star of the original “Full House” series, as she may be facing jail time for allegedly buying her daughter’s place at college for $500,000. Given how season 4 ended, it could be interesting to see how the writers handle this potential change of cast availability.
