Final Trailer Released for the Last Volume of “Money Heist” – Finishes December on Netflix

The end is almost here for Netflix’s insanely popular Spanish crime series “Money Heist” (“La Casa de Papel”). The final season has been split into two volumes with the first having arrived in September. We now have a short teaser for Volume 2 which arrives on December 3rd. The final volume is made up of 5 episodes. You can see the new trailer and some images below but read on for more information about the show.

The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.

Showrunner Álex Pina says: “We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season”

In season 1 (parts 1 and 2) the story follows a group of robbers who attack the Royal Mint of Spain in order to print and escape with €2.4bn. The heist is led by ‘The Professor’ – an unknown leader running things from the outside. Season 2 (parts 3 and 4) is set a few years after the initial heist and sees the gang get back together along with some new members.

Part 4 begins in chaos: the professor thinks that Lisbon has been executed, Rio and Tokyo have blown up an army tank and Nairobi is struggling between life and death. The gang is going through one of its toughest moments and the rise of an enemy among its ranks will put the heist in serious danger.
