First Look at Robert Rodriguez’s “We Can Be Heroes” for Netflix – Coming January 1st

Netflix has released some first look images for Robert Rodriguez’s new family film “We Can Be Heroes”, which will arrive globally on January 1st, 2021. The film is described as a new take on the super hero genre and was shot in Texas. When alien invaders that kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world. Expect a trailer soon.

The film is written, produced and directed by Rodriguez (“Spy Kids”) and will star Christian Slater (“Mr. Robot”), YaYa Gosselin (“The Purge”), Akira Akbar (“Captain Marvel”), Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken (“The Kids are Alright”), Boyd Holbrook (“Logan”), Hala Finley (“Man with a Plan”) Isaiah Russell-Bailey (“Family Reunion”), Lotus Blossom (“Magic Max”), Lyon Daniels (“Patriot”), Nathan Blair (“Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.”), Sung Kang (“Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift”),Vivien Lyra Blair (“Bird Box”), Adriana Barraza (“Dora and the Lost City of Gold”) and Christopher McDonald (“Mr. Iglesias”) with Pedro Pascal (“Narcos”) and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas (“Isn’t It Romantic”).
