Full List of Everything Added to Netflix UK This Week (14th February 2020)

Another week has passed and, in case you missed our social media feeds, we’re here to give you the run down on this week’s additions just in time for your weekend binge sessions. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to the streaming service in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

The top films that have been added to Netflix UK this week according to our social media users are the British crime-drama Green Street which sees a Harvard student wrongly expelled before moving to London to live with his sister, where his brother-in-law introduces him to the violent underworld of football hooliganism. Next up we have Inglourious Basterds which is set in In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, where a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theatre owner’s vengeful plans for the same. Starter horror film Polaroid follows a high school loner, Bird Fitcher, who stumbles upon a vintage Polaroid camera. She soon learns that the camera houses a terrible secret: whoever has their picture taken by it meets a tragic and violent end. The girl and her friends must survive one more night as they race to solve the mystery of the haunted Polaroid before it kills them all. Also added this week was the much anticipated Netflix original To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You in which Lara Jean and Peter have just taken their relationship from pretend to officially official when another recipient of one of her old love letters enters the picture. Other films of note include the emotional drama What Dreams May Come and the sci-fi action film Pitch Black.

For TV this week we have Castle and Castle which sees a pair of high-powered, successful lawyers find themselves defending opposite interests of the justice system, causing a strain on their happy marriage. In reality TV series Love Is Blind Nick and Vanessa Lachey host a social experiment where single men and women look for love and get engaged, all before meeting in person. In Hindi drama Taj Mahal 1989 couples of varying ages explore the politics of love through marriage, budding romances and friendships. In the Thai TV drama Sleepless Society: Insomnia a young woman with insomnia is haunted by recurring visions so she visits an old home to solve a mystery and put her nightmares to an end.

There has only been one documentary added this week which is ROAD TO ROMA where Director Alfonso Cuarón reflects on the childhood memories, period details and creative choices that shaped his Academy Award-winning film “ROMA”.

To keep the younger family members entertained over the half term holiday we have the Netflix Original interactive Captain Underpants Epic Choice-o-Rama where Harold and George need your decision-making skills to stop Krupp from blowing their beloved treehouse to smithereens (see our new page for all the other interactive shows on Netflix UK). The 2018 British film Peter Rabbit is a mix of live action and CGI, and sees rascally Peter Rabbit face a tough new foe in his ongoing battle for the veggies in Mr. McGregor’s garden. Dragon Quest Your Story is a Japanese anime which is based on the fifth Dragon Quest game, where Luca follows in his father’s footsteps to rescue his mother from evil Ladja.
