Another week has passed and, in case you missed our social media feeds, we’re here to give you the run down on this week’s additions just in time for your weekend binge sessions. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to Netflix in the UK in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

As we’ve entered an extended period of ‘lockdown’ due to Coronavirus Covid-19 you may be wondering what to watch on Netflix – well, wonder no longer! Here at New On Netflix we’ve put together a list of what we (with the help of our social media users) think are the best things that have been added to Netflix UK this week.

The films that have been added this week include the Netflix original late night The Wrong Missy which sees a man thinks he’s invited the woman of his dreams on a work retreat to Hawaii before realising too late he had mistakenly texted someone from a nightmare blind date. In the comedy Kindergarten Cop a tough cop must pose as a kindergarten teacher in order to locate a dangerous criminal’s ex-wife, who may hold the key to putting him behind bars. In the horror film The Last House on the Left a gang kidnaps and brutally assaults two young women, before unknowingly finding refuge at a vacation home belonging to the parents of one of the victims: a mother and father who devise an increasingly gruesome series of revenge tactics. In the Netflix original Spanish comedy I love you, stupid when Marcos is dumped by his girlfriend, and loses his job on the same day he attempts to reinvent himself as a modern man with the help of a childhood friend and an online guru. Other films include the comedy Role Models starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd; and sci-fi film Oblivion.

For TV this week we have the crime drama White Lines which sees a woman try to solve the mysterious death of her brother, a famous DJ who disappeared in Ibiza many years ago. Parasyte: The Maxim is an anime horror series where a teenager battles an onslaught of parasites from space with help from Migi, a docile parasitic creature that’s taken over his right hand. In the interactive Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend Kimmy’s getting married, but first she has to foil the Reverend’s evil plot. Inhuman Resources stars Eric Cantona and tells of Alain Delambre, an unemployed 57 year old who is lured by an attractive job opening. But things get ugly when he realises he’s a pawn in a cruel corporate game. Also added this week was season 6 of Schitt’s Creek.

For documentaries this week we have Trial By Media in this true crime docuseries, some of the most dramatic trials of all time are examined with an emphasis on how the media may have impacted verdicts. In Fire in the Blood Dylan Mohan Gray examines Africa’s AIDS crisis and activists’ battle with pharmaceutical companies to make life-saving HIV drugs more affordable. Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics explores hallucinogenic highs and lows as celebrities share funny, mind-blowing tales via animations, reenactments and more.

For the younger family members this week we have Learning Time with Timmy join Timmy the sheep and other colourful characters who help make learning English fun. In Super Why! Wyatt and his pals, the Super Readers, solve problems by consulting classic stories such as Little Miss Muffet, Hansel and Gretel and more. In True: Terrific Tales True and her friends create their own versions of Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood and other classic tales. In Monster Math Squad MAX, LILY and GOO love nothing better than to put their monster minds together and use their math skills to overcome any obstacle they face. In Twirlywoos the curious family of Twirlywoos bounce around their boat and visit new places, turning learning into adventures wherever they land. For older kids this week we have She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 5.
