Full List of Everything Added to Netflix UK This Week (27th September 2019)

Another week has passed and, in case you missed our social media feeds, we’re here to give you the run down on this week’s additions just in time for your weekend binge sessions. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to the streaming service in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

The most popular film added tis week is also the winner of the most intriguing title too: The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot is, obviously, a fictional film about the man who killed Hitler and thus saved America. Later in his life he is recruited in order to save America again – this time by hunting the mythical Bigfoot. The film, by all accounts, is more about his personal journey through life more than the two titular killings. Set in 1983, Call Me by Your Name is a modern classic that sees 17-year-old Elio form a life-changing bond with his father’s charismatic research assistant Oliver in the Italian countryside. Another romantic film is Under the Eiffel Tower where an American man going through a mid-life crisis tags along on a friend’s family holiday to France to find a new lease on life in the countryside – while there he ends up proposing to his friends’ daughter.

In the Shadow of the Moon is a new sci-fi thriller that follows a detective as he spends his whole life obsessing over an enigmatic female serial killer whose crimes defy explanation. Another popular sci-fi addition is I Origins which tells the story of a scientist on the brink of an important discovery who meets a girl who can actually prove his theory.

Fans of puppets and ventriloquism may appreciate the new comedy special: Jeff Dunham: Beside Himself. In the show comedian Jeff Dunham takes the stage in Dallas with his old pals Peanut, Walter, José Jalapeño, Bubba J and Achmed to poke fun at himself and American culture.

For TV additions this week we have the arrival of the 4th and final season of The Good Place with new episodes being added every Friday. New Netflix Original series from Ryan Murphy The Politician follows a rich kid Payton who has known from age 7 that he wants to be president – but to get their, he first has to navigate the treacherous world of High School politics. The Australian mystery series Glitch has returned with season 3 this week and we’ve also been gifted with a selection of South Park episodes – seasons 1, 18-21 and a ‘best of’.

For children and families this week there is a new Netflix series Team Kaylie about a YouTuber who is made to do community service in a school; a new pre-school series, Dragons: Rescue Riders, based on the popular How to Train Your Dragon franchise; and another Lego film with LEGO Jurassic World: Secret Exhibit.
